Vedanta Aluminium progresses with green anode plant
Vedanta Aluminium says it anticipates to unveil a green anode plant later this month. The Indian aluminium producer said work was progressing at its Jharsuguda, India, facility.
The work includes the Green Anode Plant number 5 of 35 tph and the Anode Rodding Shop 3 of 40 RPH which are being set up for carbon adequacy of up to 2 million t/year production at the facility.
In its latest financial report, it said the rodding shop was commissioned earlier this year while the anode plant is anticipated to be commissioned late this month.
