Impala Platinum Holdings moves its branch register from the UK to SA
Impala Platinum shareholders have been notified that all shareholders reflected on the UK branch register as at 29 July 2021, currently administered by Computershare PLC, will be transferred onto the South African share register administered by Computershare Investor Services Proprietary Limited (“the Transfer Secretaries”) in South Africa.
The Company has determined that following the termination of its secondary listing on the London Stock Exchange (“LSE”) in December 2012, it would simplify the administration to also move the UK branch register to South Africa.
The UK register comprises less than 1% of the total issued share capital. This makes it difficult for the Company to justify the administration burden and the associated costs of maintaining a UK branch register.
UK Shareholders that currently hold their documents of title in certificated form are encouraged to elect a dematerialised format by informing the Transfer Secretaries in South Africa and seeking advice from their broker or a UK broker with South African based partners.
