RevoCast unveils aluminium remelting facility
RevoCast has launched its aluminium remelting facility in Langley, British Columbia, Canada.
The 120,000 ft² site is designed to transform recycled aluminium into high-quality billets.
The first billet was successfully cast on August 1st, 2026.
The facility is expected to produce 80,000 tons of billets per year.
The site aims to help reshape Langley’s industrial landscape, bring advanced aluminium manufacturing capabilities, create skilled employment opportunities, and strengthen the local economy.

RevoCast said sustainability and energy efficiency were central to the facility’s design.
The furnaces use high-efficiency burner systems and electromagnetic stirring to optimise the melting process and reduce energy consumption.
Energy is also captured through the drying chambers, further improving overall efficiency.
RevoCast said that when combined, these technologies enable energy consumption per tonne of metal to be comparable to the lowest levels known for facilities operating a single-chamber melting furnace configuration.
In addition, RevoCast plans to serve the West Coast and Pacific Northwest aluminium extrusion markets with aluminium billets in the 6xxx alloy series. These are available in two diameters: Ø178mm (7″) and Ø203mm (8″), with a maximum sellable length of 7.3 meters (288″).
